Love Has Bad Days Too

Thank you to the elusive andrew smith for our first submission.

Love does not always look,
Like love,

Sometimes it hides in frowns,
And harsh words,
But the eyes will always give,
It away.

Sometimes it cuts,
Like barbed wire,
On the fence that keeps,
The bad things out.

But love will heal,
They say,
And they are right,
In the end.

He says : “I like this poem because I always read it after an arguement with the wife!  It is on my wordpress blog, but nobody reads it!”
